A progress report & timely political advice from Southern activist, Mike Crane
on how to win the fight against the Georgia Legislature & Governor that "stole" the real Georgia State Flag.

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Yesterday members of the SCV, LoS and Southern Party of Georgia met at the capitol for the opening day of the reapportionment session. There were two events, one outside and one inside the capitol and I will try
to give a general summary of both.

Around 100 people responded to the workday opportunity to hold a TRUE Georgia State Flag Rally at the capitol. It was a beautiful sight, all four entrances were covered, especially the one located between the Legislative Office Building and the capitol. As TurnCoat after TurnCoat made their way to the capitol they received a very warm welcome.

It was also a vocal Rally. At times during the rally I was in either the capitol or the Legislative Office Building and I could still hear the chants of "No Votes For TurnCoats". At least one Yellow Streak rag caught fire and one was seen in a trash can where they all belong.

In addition to catching the media and the TurnCoats by surprise it appears that all had a good time and greatly enjoyed the Rally. I have found brief references to the Rally in the ajc, Chattanooga and
Jacksonville papers.

The other event was an effort by the Southern Party of Georgia to deliver "Judas" packages to each of the TurnCoats. These packages included symbolic 30 pieces of silver (washers), "No Votes For TurnCoats" and "It Aint Over Yet" Bumper stickers and a supply of Barnes dollars (6.5 Million - The Best Government Money Can Buy).

In all of my years of going head to head with the liberals I have never seem anything like the opposition we received trying getting past security. Folks, please read the following very carefully, this is not good news. They are prohibiting the passing out of anything, even in the Legislative Office Building. Not only did we spend four hours bumping up the security chain of command, but also getting Reps and Senator's offices to call security, with very little impact. This is no longer the capitol of the People of Georgia, it is the palace of King Roy I.
Everybody is intimidated by the King.

Finally a representative of the Speaker's office approved the delivery of the "Judas" packages to House members via the capitol mail system and it was agreed that with the approval of any Senator that the ones for the Senate would also be delivered via the same mail system. But all of the favourable Senators that we talked to would not approve the delivery due to fear of reprisals from the King on their district boundaries. This State Government is operating under a cloak of intimidation. This is not good news for us or for the People of Georgia.

Anyway, we were successful in getting the Judas packages delivered to 94 of the House TurnCoats and are still working on the 34 Senate, Lt. Traitor and King's packages.

By the time we grabbed some food, the participants in the Flag Rally had all departed, but the members of the Legislature were busily streaming back and forth between the capitol and Legislative office building. So one late arrival SCV member and the three remaining Southern Party of Georgia members grabbed Flags and "No Votes For TurnCoats" Banner and setup between the two buildings again. For the next four hot hours we continued the effort until the Reps and Senators had entered their secret 5:00 meetings.

In summary, both efforts certainly had some impact and certainly made our presence known. But want to make two comments:

1) I believe that scheduling a short Rally was a tactical error. This should have been an all day effort. Sure the morning was fun and cooler, but even the small group that remained for the afternoon continued to remind the turncoats that we haven't forgotten. And was a rallying point for our supporters who apparently are going to be beat up in the reapportionment process.

2) This isolationist wall that security has thrown up should be a warning to us that the King is planning something in reapportionment. I have heard of his proposals to incorporate multi-member districts. You had better get on the horn to your Reps and Senators and let them know that you want none of this gerrymandering in the State of Georgia. Better do it now as we all know how fast he can ram stuff through the intimidated and bought Legislature.

Finally, more people need to get involved. Pick the organization of your choice and join if you haven't already. Send some bucks to the organization of your choice, we aren't going to win this battle without everybody's financial support. Buy the "Let Us Vote" yard signs and get them up. Start working on your local county officials, this is the support base for the monkey business at the capitol.

This is more than a battle for our State Flag, which I love and will defend until the day I die. It is a battle for our State, which the Flag represents.

Please feel free to pass to pass this own to anyone who would be interested. Anyone receiving this via a forward that would like to be added to the announcement list can follow the directions below or contact Mike Crane at mikecrane
